Vernissage / Tolerance

to nobody in particular:

...tonight, i enjoyed pure enjoyment and pure disappointment at once...

...enjoyment: the Vernissage tonight, and the fact that we walked to and from it with our neighbors below us, who we had invited earlier this week -- how cool is that?...

...disappointment: i forgot the camera for the exhibition...

...smiles...

...sighs...

...either way, it was a wonderful turn out for a great evening -- even with a little energetic two year-old on our hands......

-----

..."you learn something new every day"...

...today, i learned: i do have the power to seek out, watch and listen to a 45 minute Democratic presidential candidate's nomination acceptance speech...

...could've done without the first three minutes of cheering and "thank you", but the laundry needed folded anyway...

...and i don't necessarily feel guilty about lack of interest, but i guess, now that it is down to less than 70 days, i wanted to get a better grasp and understanding of the presidential candidates -- for better or worse...

-----

...currently enjoying: the Austellung "Licht und Schatten" (see yesterday's post for picture and website)

an informed voter is a good voter. contrary to popular belief, voting for one side ro the other doesn't make you good or bad. voting for a candidate who represents you most closely is the sign of a good voter.

love to the wife and kids from me and the fam.
